You first have to put the probability of him getting the bus and the train

for the first time he has a 2/3 chance of picking one

For the second time he has a 1/3 chance since he has to get the one he hasn't used yet

You multiply these together

2/3 * 1/3 = 2/9

The answer is 2/9
