Sure !

At 5 PM, it was 7.1° . 

Then the sun went down, a cold front moved in,
and the temperature started dropping.

It dropped from  7.1° down to zero, and it didn't stop there.
It kept on dropping some more.

After it went down to zero, it dropped another  10.3°  .

All together, it dropped  7.1°  plus  10.3° .
