[tex]m = \frac{y_{2} - y_{1}}{x_{2} - x_{1}} = \frac{5 - 3}{4 - 6} = \frac{2}{-2} = -1[/tex]

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)
 y - 3 = -1(x - 6)
 y - 3 = -1(x) - 1(-6)
 y - 3 = -x + 6
   + 3        + 3
      y = -x + 9
