PE = mgh.

PE = Potential energy
M = mass
G = gravity
H = height

Now plug in the numbers.

PE = 55 * 9.8 m/s^2 * 27
PE = 539 * 27
PE = 14553

Answer: Potential energy is 14,553 Joules
