1.5(4x+3y)=-10(1.5) =

6x+4.5y=-15

6x+4.5y= 6x-5y (substitution)

-6x from both sides

4.5y =-5y

y=0

6x-0=-15

divide by 6

x=-2.5

-2.5(4)+3(0)=-10

-10= -10 (correct!)
