The region which consists of the countries of Pakistan and India is also known as the Indian Subcontinent. It is a region that contains nearly 1.6 billion residents (1350 million in India and 200 million in Pakistan). It was initially one single kingdom until cultural and religious differences, as the Pakistanis are Muslims and the Indians are Hinduism.
